Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. As a Pipelayer, you will be part of a team installing and repairing underground pipe for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have some experience in heavy equipment operation and possess the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties:
- Install and repair underground pipelines, including water, sewer, and storm water lines
- Assist with concrete forming and pouring for pipeline structures
- Operate loaders, excavators and skid loaders as needed
- Perform utility locating to identify existing underground utilities
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure pipeline integrity
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and skid loaders
- Familiarity with utility locating methods and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
