For this Middle School English Teacher role, you will work at Freire Charter Middle School in Center City Philadelphia, serving students in grades 5–8. As Freire Schools’ youngest Dragons, our middle school students are building the academic foundation and habits they need to thrive in a rigorous, college-preparatory high school. What You’ll Do
As a member of Freire’s instructional team, you will implement high-quality, standards-aligned curriculum to drive rigorous instruction, critical thinking, and high achievement in your classroom, while remaining open to feedback and instructional coaching.

Minimum Requirements
Salaries for certified teachers entering their first year start at $60,000, with an overall salary range of $50,000–$85,000 based on experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required

- Minimum of two years of successful experience working with diverse student populations
