We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems, particularly in supermarkets, cold storage, commercial, and industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems, including supermarkets, single systems, parallel racks, display cases, and walk-in boxes
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and microprocessor control systems
- Conduct leak detection procedures and ensure system efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely and high-quality repairs
- Maintain detailed service records with photos and notes
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration/freezer systems
- Knowledge of Novar, CPC, Danfoss Energy Management Controls, and Rack Refrigeration
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, including package units and split systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- EPA certification required
- High school diploma or GED
