Jr Staff Accountant

🚀 Now Hiring: Jr. Staff Accountant (AR/AP Focus) – Freight/Logistics

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Staff Accountant to join our team and support day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, and freight billing operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to grow in a fast-paced logistics/brokerage environment.

• Audit freight invoices (LTL, FTL, Parcel) against quotes and documentation
• Generate customer invoices and credit memos
• Process vendor invoices and support AP functions
• Manage AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances
• Apply and reconcile customer payments
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with Operations & Support teams
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records
• Assist with month-end close (AR/AP related)

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, billing, AR/AP, or similar role
• Experience in logistics or freight billing is a big plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Associate’s degree or higher required (Bachelor’s preferred)

• Hands-on experience in both AR & AP
• Exposure to freight/logistics accounting

💰 Compensation: $25-$28/hour (depending on experience)
