Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Billing Specialist located in Chattanooga, TN. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing process, preparing and processing invoices, handling client billing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Regular tasks include reviewing billing data for accuracy, responding to client inquiries, and collaborating with other departments to streamline billing operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the logistics billing process and invoicing.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively and professionally.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in billing software and tools
- Prior experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
