Route Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with warehouse operations. The Route Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organization of products.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activities throughout the day.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
