What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operation Supervisor / Manager in Freight Forwarder position at FREIGHT FORWARDER?
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, creative person to manage a growing freight forwarding operations team focused
Air/Ocean import and export daily works
Ensure freight and documentation is accurately, efficiently and properly handled by the entire Operation Team
Guide the OP team for timely and proper respond to customers, ensure that all customers receive timely updates regarding the progress of their shipments
Setting up operational SOP and ensuring freight team follows all related SOP
Identify, understand, address and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day operations to make the best customers' satisfaction
Oversee and monitor all services and procedures and implement improvements as necessary immediately
Encourage , motivate and carry the positive energy to lead the team with always--try attitude, promote the company's culture
Assign and adjust workload duties to staffs based on the strength for each individual
Develop new vendors and maintain relationships with existing vendors and be responsible to the rate negotiations for the company's best interest
Constantly set up the goal and plan for the team to reach the higher level
Requirements:
At least 6 years freight forwarding and 2 years in management experience.
Understanding of freight forwarding services and modes of transportation.
Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, strong project management, analytical skills, leadership, multi-task and team building skills.
With positive attitude, able to work under pressure and excellent problem-solving skills.
Computer literate; must be able to create and generate reports.
Proven experience in similar transportation industry-related companies.
Bilingual Chines is a plus
