We’re looking for an Accounting Intern to join our growing Accounting team in Denton, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in accounting, billing, accounts payable, and financial operations.
What You'll Learn & Support
- Assist with monitoring and organizing the accounting inbox and responding to internal requests.
- Gain hands-on experience with customer invoicing, billing, and account reconciliation.
- Assist with reviewing and processing vendor bills and identifying billing discrepancies.
- Help research and resolve invoice exceptions and missing documentation.
- Assist with maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes.
- Support the team with reviewing outstanding vendor bills and following up on required documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding billing and accounting questions.
- Learn how accounting controls, policies, and documentation standards are applied in a growing organization.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
- Graduating December 2026 or May 2027
- Previous accounting, finance, billing, or internship experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interest in developing a career in accounting or finance.
