What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st shift Trailer Unloader/Loader position at FREIGHT BREAKERS LLC?
Overview: Our unloaders primarily assist with unloading boxes from containers. You will be assisting with building and moving pallets.
Responsibilities:
- Move pallets to/from staging area
- Basic math skills are needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow receiving/shipping policies and procedures
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols
- Follow attendance policies and call-off procedures
Requirements:
- Reliable attendance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 5-150lbs
- Must be 18 or older to apply
- Must be on present and on time for all scheduled shifts
- Must be able to lift and carry 5-150LBS
- Must be able to work consistently for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform at or above production standards (after training)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug test

Pay:Up to $30.00 per hour - accuracy and pace make a direct impact on pay
Scheduled hours: 40 per week M-F ;
Overtime: Weekends as needed
