Role Description The Transportation Specialist - Freight Broker is a full-time, on-site position based in Greensboro, NC. In this role, the specialist will source and secure freight opportunities, match loads with qualified carriers, and manage the full lifecycle of each shipment from pickup to delivery. Daily responsibilities include negotiating rates, scheduling and dispatching trucks, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves building and maintaining customer and carrier relationships, providing proactive communication, and ensuring service commitments are met. Collaboration with internal team members to optimize routes, manage costs, and support continuous process improvements is a key part of the position.
