Freese and Nichols is currently searching for a highly motivated, well-rounded Engineer-in-Training with an interest in the geotechnical field, to add to our Water Resource Dam and Levee Design group in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas.

Primary Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for collecting, adjusting, correlating data, and recognizing discrepancies in results.
- Assist with geotechnical designs and reports, including learning slope stability, seepage and settlement modeling.
- The ideal candidate will become familiar with accepted design criteria and geotechnical methods.
- Perform project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines defined by the Project Engineer and within the time and schedule allocations agreed upon by the Group Manager.
- Applicant must be willing to interface with internal and external clients and develop strong working relationships through project interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering.
- 1 years' experience in a related field.
- EIT certification or ability to pass the FE exam within one year of joining the team.
