Freese and Nichols is looking for a BIM/CAD Technician in Fort Worth, Texas, Raleigh, North Carolina, or Houston, Texas. As BIM/CAD Technician, you will lead the development of complex BIM/CAD models and drawings while providing technical guidance to junior technicians and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements.

What You’ll Do
- Lead development of complex BIM/CAD models and complete drawing sets including plans, elevations, and detail drawings.
- Translate rough sketches and verbal direction into detailed construction documents using Revit.
- Proactively support internal project teams through effective communication and high-quality technical work
- Support and coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to optimize workflows and enhance modeling standards
- Train and mentor junior technicians in software applications and BIM/CAD best practices
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 years of experience performing CAD functions in a 3D environment
- Proficiency in Revit
- Aptitude for mathematics and ability to interpret drawings and maps
- Associate degree in BIM/CAD
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
- Experience in Structural or Architectural BIM/CAD
- Basic ACAD knowledge
