Description
This entry-level position supports operations and / or maintenance areas in an industrial setting. Employees work in environments where the primary objective is safe production. There are many work activities taking place at one time, and work tasks may change many times during a work shift.
- Area housekeeping to include tasks such as shoveling, using a fire hose, and digging
- Operation of processing / mobile equipment
- Material lifting / handling / loading
- Operation of hand / power tools
- Equipment / facility inspection and maintenance
- Other tasks as assigned

Criteria / Conditions
Work is performed in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $22.00 - $22.50 / hour.
