The operation’s commitment to utilizing advanced technologies and sustainable practices strongly emphasizes safety and environmental stewardship. Located in southeastern Arizona, close to more than 4 million acres of national forest, employees and their families can connect with the great outdoors while fishing, rafting, hiking and more. Several educational institutions also are nearby, including a Northern Arizona University satellite campus, Eastern Arizona College, and the Gila Institute for Technology.
What You Will Do
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $93,000 - $127,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. What You Will Do
- Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff for assigned work unit.
- Implement production plans according to approved schedule.
- May participate in the full range of daily operational duties, performing the most difficult.
- Inspect and evaluate work in progress, identify any problem areas, and may direct remedial action.
- Conduct performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
- Prepare estimates of the staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for projected work activities.
- Maintain an inventory of parts and materials. Approves purchases of materials and equipment; maintain time, materials and equipment use reports. Requisitions tools, supplies, materials and equipment.
- Train staff in safety procedures. Maintains safety data sheets for crews.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School diploma or GED and five years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical mining related discipline with at least one summer internship experience (or equivalent) working in mining or industrial environment, including supervisory or lead experience.
- Experience in the electrical field
- Experience with Microsoft applications (IE: Excel, Word)
