Where You Will Work Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits. What You Will Do Provide technical advice and guidance for all phases of Electrical Engineering projects. Develop Electrical Engineering projects utilizing new technology to constantly upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and protection of the environment. Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects Manage maintenance and projects and serve as subject matter expert (SME) on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion or modifications Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable processes, practices, and existing/proposed local, state and federal regulations Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas Develop and evaluate AFE's (Authorization for Expenditure) for capital funding requests May evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment May represent the site on company sponsored steering committees, task forces, or teams Perform other duties as required Working knowledge and experience in electronics, PLCs, radio communications and control systems Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions Ability to evaluate and implement new methods and techniques for operational improvement Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions Advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification
