Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning and more. This position requires work to be performed in-person at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix. The Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.

What You Will Do
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $90,000-$124,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. What You Will Do
- Develop mining plans based on all available geological information to support short and/or long-range planning and production goals.
- Participate in Engineering feasibility studies to define proper mining methods, equipment selection, mine site facilities, and manpower and production requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed ore reserve estimates.
- Monitor mining methods and equipment to improve performance.
- Ensure maximum productivity and extraction rates by optimizing mining methods, procedures, and equipment.
- Assist in developing and managing mine, mine ventilation, waste dumps and stockpile designs.
- Recommend courses of action designed to eliminate potential production problems and to improve safety, operational efficiency, control production costs and protect the environment.
- Work with Geologists in exploration and assists in the Engineering phase of developments and operational activities.
- Monitor mine ventilation and air quality at working sites throughout the mine.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering, OR
- Master's degree in Mine Engineering or related Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience in Engineering
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Mine Engineering
- Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
