Where You Will Work
Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company’s Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulfuric acid for our North American leaching operations. What You Will Do
- Responsible for the administration of and assist employees in completing insurance, unemployment, workers' compensation and other personnel forms.
- Maintain records on sick leave, vacation, and other absences.
- Handle or refer personnel related inquiries and checks references.
- Assist in compiling human resource related statistics for management.
- May handle paper flow for periodic reviews.
- Assist in maintaining employee files.
- Perform other duties as requested.
What You Bring To Freeport
- One (1) year of clerical experience in administrative, office support or human resource work.
- Solid computer skills in office word processing, email, spreadsheet and presentation applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in database management tools
- Human Resource admin or office support work experience
- Experience with payroll systems
- Experience with advanced spreadsheet functions
What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $20.50 - $28.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
