Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install custom cabinets and fixtures.
- Measure spaces precisely, ensuring proper fit and alignment of cabinetry according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently during installation processes.
- Handle heavy lifting of cabinetry components and materials while maintaining safety protocols.
- Install various fixtures such as doors, trim and other related elements to complete the project scope.
- Conduct finishing tasks including caulking, painting touch-ups, and restoration work as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of installation projects while adhering to safety standards like power tool safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, or woodworking within residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and power tool safety procedures.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
- Familiarity with wood construction materials such as cabinetry components.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation tasks.
