Installer

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Installer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, moving and maintaining office furniture and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your hands-on skills and technical knowledge will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to work independently or in a team while delivering high-quality customer service.

Team Member:

· Follow safety guidelines and express concerns with a member of management

· Assist with projects and other tasks as assigned

· Constructively challenge concerns and issues directly with fellow Employees, Project Leads, or Supervisors

· Communicate and work with management on any unresolved issues or concerns

Furniture Installer:

· Install office furniture

· Disassemble, transport, and reassemble office furniture

· Reconfigure office furniture

· Read and follow furniture layouts and prints

· Lift and move office furniture, equipment, and office supplies

· Complete daily paperwork, documenting tasks daily for customer and business

· Communicate with the Project Lead during projects to address questions or concerns

· Create product lists for materials needed for projects

· Repair and maintenance of facility equipment

Mover:

· Communicate with the Project Lead or customer what procedures and supplies are needed to prepare for their move

· Assist and monitor the entire move process to ensure total completion

· Ensure that all customer’s items have been transferred from original to new location

· Coordinate with team members to efficiently complete customer’s relocation

· Read and follow a map to locate/move items from original to new location

Expectations

· Be consistently punctual and dependable when arriving and working at the job site

· Report to work in uniform or attire with good hygiene

· Provide exceptional customer service ensuring that the customer is always satisfied with the services and products received

· Respectfully follow Supervisor or Project Lead direction and instruction

· Have a positive and cooperative attitude with team members

· Exhibit self-control in all workplace situations

· Maintain a high degree of integrity

· Willing to assume personal responsibility for job performance

· Bring the required tools, equipment, and supplies

· Correctly use tools of the trade and follow safety regulations

Physical Demands

The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of the job.

· Frequently stand and walk.

· Reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

· Occasionally required to sit

· Lift, load, and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs

· Team lift items exceeding 50 lbs

Work Environment

The work environment described here are representative to those that the employee will encounter while performing the functions of the job.

· Occasional use of protective or safety equipment

· Intermittent distraction or uncomfortable noise levels

· Work indoors in climate controlled and non-climate controlled environments

· Work outdoors in varying temperatures

Qualifications:

· At least 18 years old

· Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check

Candidates Preferred:

High School Diploma/GED

Valid Driver License

DOT License (Adequately handle vehicles and necessary equipment)

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Previous Installation Experience

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
