Summary
The Operations Process Analyst is a highly visible, senior individual contributor within the Operations Enablement team and plays a critical role in advancing Freeman’s operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement efforts. This role applies advanced conceptual and practical knowledge of operations and process improvement, operates with a high degree of independence, and exercises sound judgment to solve complex operational challenges.
The Operations Process Analyst serves as a trusted resource for operations leaders and cross-functional partners, bringing a fresh, enterprise-wide perspective to evaluate, design, and optimize operational processes. The role owns ongoing process standards and improvement objectives, leads defined initiatives or workstreams, and influences outcomes across multiple teams through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.
This Position Will Support Our Operations Enablement Team. It Is Eligible To Work a Hybrid Schedule, Generally Requiring Work In-office And/or Show-site 2-3 Days Per Week. The Ideal Candidate Will Be Located In Dallas, TX; However, We Are Also Open To Candidates Based Out Of

Operational Process Ownership & Improvement
- Serve as the primary owner for documenting, analyzing, and improving operational processes from an enterprise-wide perspective, including current- and future-state workflows, gap analyses, and transition roadmaps.
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities by synthesizing data from multiple sources and applying industry best practices and operational benchmarks.
- Translate complex operational requirements and process gaps into actionable improvement plans, pilot programs, and clearly defined success metrics for implementation and validation.
- Operate with minimal supervision, independently prioritizing work and determining appropriate analytical approaches within broad organizational guidelines and standards.
- Solve complex, often ambiguous operational problems by exercising judgment, evaluating trade-offs, and taking new perspectives on existing solutions.
- Perform operational data analysis including KPI tracking, throughput measurement, resource utilization, and capacity modeling to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead small to mid-sized operational improvement initiatives or workstreams with manageable scope, risk, and resource requirements.
- Consult and partner with business stakeholders, Operations leadership, Project Management, and functional teams throughout process improvement initiatives and drive recommendations to meet needs outlined in project and operational scope.
- Influence without authority to drive process adoption, standardization, and sustained improvements across teams.
- Apply an understanding of how operational processes integrate across functions and contribute to broader organizational performance, scalability, and differentiation.
- Evaluate improvement opportunities in the context of downstream impacts, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure process designs and recommendations align with both internal operational goals and external best practices.
- Develop and maintain high-quality operational documentation including SOPs, process maps, workflows, dashboards, and supporting materials in designated systems of record.
- Participate in quality management reviews to ensure operational procedures, process designs and improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational standards and efficiency goals.
- Review operational deliverables for completeness, quality, and adherence to established performance and process standards.
- Communicate complex, technical, or sensitive operational findings and recommendations clearly and constructively to diverse audiences, from front-line staff to executive leadership.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to build consensus among stakeholders with differing priorities and perspectives.
- Act as a subject matter resource and informal mentor to colleagues and business partners with less experience in process analysis or operational design.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical reporting, operational insights, and decision support to business units and leadership as needed.
- Contribute to the evolution of operational process frameworks, documentation standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Operations, Process Improvement, Business Analytics, or a related discipline within enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Demonstrated end-to-end experience supporting operational implementations or transformations, including exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or MS Dynamics.
- Experience with cross-functional process integration and operational data flows, including the use of reporting and analytical tools to analyze performance trends, identify gaps, and support operation and leadership decision making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize multiple data sources into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong business acumen, including knowledge of operational best practices and how process performance drives organizational outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proven capability to lead defined initiatives, influence stakeholders, and act as a trusted operational advisor.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or sensitive information and build alignment.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a disciplined approach to documentation and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps, as well as operational management systems, reporting tools, and enterprise platforms to support analysis and process improvement.
