Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities & Grounds Technician to support the cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of our facility. This role focuses on maintaining a clean and safe environment through routine groundskeeping, trash removal, and light building support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove trash and recycling daily throughout the facility and transport materials to designated disposal areas
- Maintain exterior areas, including sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots, to ensure a clean and professional appearance
- Support general building cleanliness and organization
- Assist with light facility support tasks as needed
- Help ensure all workspaces remain clean, orderly, and safe
- Provide support to the facilities and maintenance team as directed
Physical Demands
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Frequent bending and stooping
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous porter, janitorial, or facilities support experience preferred
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Strong work ethic and reliability
