Description
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, exterior groundskeeping, and light custodial work to ensure a clean, safe, and functional facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) on schedule and maintain accurate records
- Perform exterior upkeep, including grounds maintenance, sidewalk cleaning, and parking lot care
- Handle light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and restocking supplies
- Oversee and perform daily trash and recycling removal; transport waste to proper disposal areas
- Conduct minor electrical work (e.g., replacing ballasts, outlets, cords, and fuses)
- Complete light carpentry, patching, and painting tasks
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support facility operations
Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Frequent bending and stooping
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–3 years of facilities maintenance experience
- Forklift experience required
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry basics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
