Orthodontic Assistant — Freelove Orthodontics & Smile Design (Kent & Sammamish)
$22–$30/hour DOE | 4 days/week | No weekends | No evenings

Freelove Orthodontics & Smile Design is a two-location practice led by Dr. Cameron Freelove, with offices in Kent and Sammamish. Our Sammamish location is co-located with Lake Sammamish Kid's Dentistry (Dr. Annikka Freelove, pediatric dentist), giving our patients — and our team — a truly coordinated care experience.

The schedule Full-time, 4 days per week: 2-3 days in Kent, 1-2 days in Sammamish depending on weekly needs. Monday–Friday, no weekends, no evenings.
What you'll do
- Place and remove orthodontic brackets and bands
- Chairside assist during bonding, adjustments, and debonds
- Take digital photos and radiographs
- Invisalign scanning and bond attachment placement
- Fabricate retainers and aligners using our in-house 3D printing
- Sterilization of instruments and treatment areas
- Patient and parent education on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Collaborate with the full clinical team to deliver an exceptional patient experience
What we're looking for (must-haves)
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (easy to apply for if you don’t have it).
- Strong verbal communication with patients, parents, doctors, and staff
- Friendly, reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and team-minded
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Basic computer proficiency
Preferred
- Orthodontic experience (we'll train the right non-ortho candidate, but experienced ortho assistants will hit the ground running)
- Spanish speakimg
