Barista – Freel Perk Café

We are looking for a friendly, dependable Barista to join the team at Freel Perk Café in Meyers, earning an hourly wage plus excellent tips!!

We’re a busy, locally owned café serving both Lake Tahoe locals and visitors. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organized during a rush, and takes pride in making quality drinks and giving customers a genuinely friendly experience.

This is a hands-on position. You’ll make espresso drinks, take orders, help serve food, keep the café clean and stocked, run food, help with dishes and work closely with the rest of the team. Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter just as much.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty beverages
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly service
• Operate our Square POS system and handle cash accurately
• Serve café food and assist with light food preparation as needed
• Keep the bar, lobby, counters, and beverage stations clean and stocked
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Work efficiently with the team during busy mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Help create the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere Freel Perk is known for

• Comfortable multitasking in a busy café
• Barista or food-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
