Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility required with the appropriate teaching endorsement in the assigned curricular area (Teacher of Technology);
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities;
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
- Professional automotive diagnosing and repair experience highly preferred;
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s) highly preferred; and
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
