Salary is based on experience. Our managers are paid hourly and have the opportunity to meet weekly goals to earn monthly bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including food production, preparation, and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all ingredients are of the highest quality.
- Supervise and train a staff.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales, increase customer satisfaction, and optimize profitability.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Manage cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other financial transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records, including inventory management.
- Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring that staffing levels are optimized to meet business needs.
- Scheduling, including planning and coordinating shifts for the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a food service management role.
- Strong knowledge of food production, hospitality, and customer service principles.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
- A passion for food and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, management, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
