We’re looking for a skilled Taproom Manager to lead our taproom team, oversee a small kitchen, elevate guest experience, and help drive the continued growth of The Freefolk Brewery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily taproom operations during service
- Hire, train, and schedule bartenders/barbacks
- Maintain high standards of service and hospitality
- Oversee and coordinate the operations of a small kitchen
- Support, hire and train kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and ticket times
- Monitor inventory for kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Manage beer inventory, keg rotation, and supply ordering
- Oversee private events and special taproom programming
- Cash handling, opening/closing procedures, daily reporting
- Ensure taproom and kitchen cleanliness, safety, and atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with ownership about challenges and needs
Requirements
- 2 years hospitality leadership experience
- Prior experience in bar or restaurant management preferred
- Basic understanding of small kitchen operations (food safety, prep, service flow)
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
