Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery for scheduled laundry pickups and deliveries
- Load and unload laundry materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe lifting practices during all driving and manual handling tasks
- Manage route driving efficiently using mobile devices for navigation and communication
- Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during drop-offs and pickups
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before each shift
Requirements:
- Clean MVR
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or load & unload roles
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or similar commercial trucks
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, safe lifting practices, and material handling
- Understanding of traffic regulations, DOT requirements, and weight handling in the workplace
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols diligently
