At Freedom Village Residents have the freedom to choose from four dining venues,
including indoor fine dining and al-fresco options, with menus created by our award
winning Executive Chef Hugo. The Outdoor Garden Cafe and Bistro features
grilled entrees cooked to order by our Chef and Cooks.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Prepare food
in a timely fashion
Follow recipes accurately
Prepare food throughout the day as needed
Maintain proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing
food.
Two (2) plus years food service in a restaurant, hospital or senior living retirement community setting preferred. Baking / Pastry experience is a plus!
Candidates must have understanding of overall food service production. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. Experience in quality food production and excellent dining service.
Schedule: Full time and Part time openings, between 6:30am to 6:45pm!
Available shifts:
Prep Cook - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Line Cook - 9:45am to 6:45pm
Salary: $18 to $22 per hour. Depends on experience

*Position is eligible for a sign on bonus of $1,000. $500 payable after successfully completing 6 months of continued employment and $500 after successfully completing 12 months of continued employment.
*Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, background check, physical exam, TB, drug screen. Covid 19 vaccination preferred not required.
