Freedom Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Lake Forest, CA which is centrally located in Orange County. We are proud to be a debt free Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), serving seniors in South Orange County for 27 years. Our campus including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing, has been completely remodeled.
At this time, we are hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in Human Resources or a career change!
- Creates personnel files for new hires. Files personal data correspondence in appropriate location
- Assists in organizing and conducting orientation of new associates
- Maintains personnel files in an organized manner
- At year end, assists move current year files to storage.
- Assists with staff events, monthly and yearly and staff meetings
- Covers reception desk and mailroom as needed
- Assists in benefit administration, benefits questions, processing enrollment forms through the Benefits Service Center and onsite open enrollment
- Assists employees with UKG questions, logging in to the portal via computer or app. Provides training
- Participates in the holiday committee and other special staff recognition event
- Self-starter, well organized, and have the ability to work well with others.
- Experience with computerized software is preferred. UKG Kronos is a plus!
- Must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and have ability to prioritize work

Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday (full time)
*Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, background check, physical exam, TB, drug screen. Covid-19 vaccination preferred not required.
