What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior System Administrator position at Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC?
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. The selected candidate will join an existing team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications. The selected candidate will join an existing team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications. The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment. This position will require working on a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform IAVA patching and reporting across enterprise systems.
- Maintain and administer Windows Server (various versions) and Linux server environments in a hybrid infrastructure.
- Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for IT systems, including both on-premise and cloud-hosted environments.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and fifteen (15) years of experience as a SA. Twenty (20) years of experience as a SA may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in managing Linux and Windows Systems
- Must be able to work during core hours of M-F 10am-2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I
- Experience with workflow designer tools
- Experience with PowerShell scripting language
- Experience in SharePoint migrations
- Ability to clearly communicate ambiguous or highly complex concepts to all audiences

Salary : $190,000 - $240,000
