An established open shop electrical contractor based in South Amboy, NJ is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator with a proven track record in new construction and high-rise residential projects
Responsibilities
: • Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and proposals for electrical systems in large-scale residential project
s • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimate
s • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure scope and pricing accurac
y • Lead value engineering efforts and recommend cost-effective solution
s • Track market trends, material pricing, and labor costs to stay competitiv
e • Support business development efforts with budgeting and bidding strategie

Qualifications
: • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial/residential constructio
n • Strong background in high-rise residential new constructio
n • Proficiency with estimating software Accubid and Bluebeam
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skill
s • Familiarity with New Jersey electrical codes and standard
