What You'll Do
The Appointment Escort provides personalized, compassionate support by safely accompanying residents to medical appointments, errands, and community outings while ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and positive experience. Beyond transportation, this role offers hands-on assistance tailored to each resident's needs, including mobility support, transfers, ambulation assistance, restroom and continence care, and other personal care services as required.
Responsibilities:
- Escort residents safely to and from medical appointments and community outings
- Assist with transportation coordination and ensure timely arrival
- Support appointment check-in and navigation within medical offices
- Provide friendly conversation, reassurance, and companionship
- Assist residents in preparing questions and taking notes during appointments (if requested)
- Communicate important updates or concerns to appropriate staff or family (as directed)
- Assist with resident ADLs as needed Ensure residents return home safely and comfortably
