Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and potential entry points
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate tools, chemicals, and techniques in accordance with safety guidelines
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed to set traps or perform treatment applications
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments performed, and follow-up recommendations for clients
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies including landscaping, lawn care, and basic farming practices that reduce pest attraction
- Assist with landscaping or lawn care tasks that support integrated pest management efforts when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in pest control is highly desirable; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture or related outdoor work is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicles to various locations
- Strong communication skills to explain treatments clearly and professionally to clients
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of land management practices that support pest control efforts
