The estimated base pay for this role is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The estimated base pay for this position is the annualized equivalent of $59,000.00 - $69,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications, market location, and other job-related factors. In addition, this role is eligible for commissions based on performance and productivity against commission plan parameters. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides data validation support on major accounting projects.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies through systematic analysis and root cause investigation.
- Create and maintain Excel-based reports and analyses to effectively monitor and manage cash activity within the accounting function.
- Document workflows and maintain procedural guides for recurring analyses and reconciliations.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing queries and manipulating data
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse or similar cloud-based data platforms
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Pivot, etc.).
- Experience with a programming language (Python or R preferred)
- Understanding of general accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to catch and report errors and inconsistencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to master, implement, and adapt to new software platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in data management, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance.
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Experience with Snowflake, Python, PowerBi preferred
