About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking lawn maintenance professional to join our growing lawn care business. This position is ideal for someone with lawn maintenance experience who can operate equipment, work independently, and take pride in doing quality work.
We are looking for someone who can help keep daily operations running smoothly, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role and eventually lead their own lawn maintenance crew.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.
- Safely operate commercial lawn equipment, including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools.
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Work independently and help ensure daily jobs are completed on schedule.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and maintaining equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Potentially drive a company vehicle or truck with a trailer, if qualified and authorized.
- Take on additional responsibilities and eventually lead a crew as the business grows.
Qualifications
- Previous lawn maintenance or landscaping experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment.
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record if driving duties are required.
- Ability to work independently, follow directions, and manage time effectively.
- Leadership skills and a willingness to take initiative.
- Must be reliable and take pride in the quality of work performed.
