Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily lawn maintenance, landscaping, gardening, and horticulture activities for your crew
- Lead team members in performing landscape installation, pruning, planting, irrigation setup, and tree care with precision and safety
- Ensure all work adheres to company standards, safety protocols, and client specifications
- Provide clear instructions and training to crew members on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices in landscaping and construction
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues on-site, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of lawn care, garden aesthetics, and overall site appearance
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating crew members, promoting teamwork, and supporting professional development
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or related outdoor services
- Strong background in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or construction projects involving outdoor environments
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and general maintenance practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively and ensure safety compliance
- Familiarity with equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members alike
