Duties
- Review and verify and prepare all closing documents, including title commitments, settlement statements, and loan paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with lenders, escrow officers, attorneys, and clients to schedule closings and gather necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant federal and state laws.
- Prepare and review escrow instructions, and loan documents for accuracy before closing.
- Execute closings efficiently using basic math skills, 10-key typing proficiency, and attention to detail while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Title Agent/Closer with proven experience in mortgage or real estate closings.-We will provide training and help to get you licensed.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting procedures.
- Familiarity with contracts, escrow procedures.
- Excellent math skills including basic calculations necessary for settlement statements and escrow accounts.
- Proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient document processing.
- Ability to interpret legal documents accurately while adhering to compliance standards.
