Job Overview
Looking for individuals passionate about developing the youth to help build our High School Football program as an Assitant Coach. You will support the head coach in developing training plans, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Your passion for sports, combined with your commitment to youth development, will help shape confident, disciplined athletes while ensuring a safe and engaging experience for all participants. *Must be able to pass a background check.
Duties
- Assist in planning and executing football practices, drills, and game strategies that emphasize skill development and teamwork
- Help supervise athletes during training sessions, games, and team activities to ensure safety and proper behavior management
- Contribute to creating a motivating environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and personal improvement
- Collaborate with other coaches to organize team events, offseason training and practice
- Engage with students’ families and school staff to promote a positive team culture and encourage student participation
Skills
- Experience as a lifeguard or in sports coaching roles
- Knowledge of teaching physical education or working in a school
- Background in physical fitness
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
- Ability to motivate young athletes while maintaining a safe environment through proactive supervision and safety protocols

Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per year
