What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Production Lead position at Freedom Graphic Systems?
Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Milton, WI, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we’re looking to add a Bilingual Shift Lead to our team on 2nd shift.
The Lettershop is where we insert printed material into envelopes and get them ready to mail. The Shift Lead supports the Shift Supervisor by assisting with machine assignments, hourly counts, and troubleshooting problems with machine set ups and operations.
In this position you will:
- Assist in training new employees
- Assign employees to machines and assist with scheduling
- Interpret job instructions and confirm that inserting equipment is set up according to job specifications
- Monitor and assess quality through all phases of production
- Evaluate hourly machine counts and make adjustments to improve production
- Order material for jobs and maintain good communication with the Warehouse team
Qualifications:
- Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish
- Ability to build and lead teams
- Be detail oriented, committed to quality and be able to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Possess proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate computer skills within a Microsoft Windows Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk throughout shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
