We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and related construction skills, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial spaces, where you will be responsible for the installation of different types of flooring materials.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately.
- Install various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning and leveling as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their flooring needs and preferences.
- Ensure that all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations. .
- Engage in restoration industry tasks, ensuring the highest quality of work is delivered.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
- Utilize maintenance person skills to address any additional construction or repair needs on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of various flooring materials and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
