Overview
Freedom Fire is an owner operated company striving to offer the businesses in New England a local alternative for their fire protection needs. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in B2B sales, management, and business development who excel in building client relationships and expanding market presence. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing territory accounts, generating leads, and closing sales to drive company growth. A successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation skill and, technical sales experience and history of sales within the construction industry.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Manage existing accounts through proactive customer service, upselling, and account management strategies.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing initiatives to expand the customer base.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with ownership on campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth in territory management.
- Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale to foster long-term relationships and ensure retention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management, preferably in construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales processes including lead generation, direct sales, cold calling, and upselling techniques.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a territory independently while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate market data and develop strategic plans accordingly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of self-motivation and discipline.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
