Freedom Financial Tax is seeking a dependable and experienced Tax Professional to support our growing client base with both personal and business tax preparation.
This position offers a flexible part-time schedule most of the year, with full-time hours and overtime opportunities during tax season.
Position Overview This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional looking for steady, year-round part-time work with increased hours during peak season in a supportive and client-focused environment.
Schedule July – February: Approximately 10 hours per week February – April 15 (Tax Season): Up to 40 hours per week, with overtime available After April 15: Return to approximately 10 hours per week
Compensation Pay is based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during interviews. Overtime opportunities available during tax season Potential for pay growth based on performance and accuracy
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
- Ensure compliance with current federal and state tax regulations
- Communicate with clients to collect documentation and answer questions Identify tax-saving opportunities where applicable
- Maintain accurate records and meet filing deadlines
- Provide a high level of professional and responsive client service
Qualifications
- 3 years experience with personal and business tax preparation
- Strong knowledge of current tax laws and filing requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during the busy tax season
- Strong communication and client service skills
- EA, CPA, or relevant certification preferred, but not required
