What You'll Do
- Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions across multiple companies
- Enter and process bills, invoices, and payments accurately and on time
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Maintain and update the General Ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial recordkeeping
- Maintain organized financial documentation
- Assist with CPA documentation and audits
Financial Operations Support
- Track company KPIs and financial performance metrics
- Support job costing and project profitability tracking
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
- Maintain accurate accounting data within the company's systems
What We're Looking For
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and GAAP standards
- Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax practices is helpful
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear communication and professionalism

- Manage bookkeeping responsibilities independently

- Support reporting and reconciliations
First 90 Days
- Fully own bookkeeping responsibilities
- Maintain accurate reconciliations and reporting
- Provide reliable financial information to leadership
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
