Driver, Wheelchair Van, Medicar, transportation, Paratransit
Driver-
$18-$20 an hour for Full-Time
$17-$19 an hour for Part-Time.
(We provide vehicles, equipment and training)
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Exhibit safe and defensive driving skills
- Driving both wheelchair and non-wheelchair patients to and from appointments
- Proper wheelchair use and securement
- Provide passenger assistance at entries and exits
- Be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push patients weighing up to 300 lbs. in a wheelchair and use ramps
- Open and close doors for customers
- Perform: Curb to Curb, Door to Door and Door through Door transports
- Maintain and follow HIPPA compliance
- Complete accident and/or incident reports
We transport patients to and from dialysis centers, skilled care facilities, hospitals, medical facilities and their homes. Must be responsible, trustworthy and great with people.
Must have:
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record (Our insurance will need to approve you)
- Be at least 21 years old
- Background checks will be required
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and Drug test
- CPR Certification is also required, but we can provide the certification
