Freedom is looking for an individual to assist students in the cafeteria. The monitor will be responsible for supervising students during meal time to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
Position Details
Hours: 1.5 hours per day
Contract Length: 170 days per year
Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date
Employment Status: Part time (not eligible for benefits)
Employment Type: 10-month employee on the classified pay schedule
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.
2026-2027 Pay Scale
Starting Pay (Step 0): $17.57/hour
We value experience! Previous experience working with students, intervention systems, and small-group instruction is strongly desired.
Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate <> Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. <> Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay
