Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, conduits, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support electrical installations
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate work execution
- Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Support the setup and framing of carpentry structures necessary for electrical infrastructure installation
- Follow all safety protocols related to NEC (National Electrical Code), low voltage, and high voltage systems on construction sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and accessible
Experience
- Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures is essential
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and basic electrical troubleshooting enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Experience with low voltage wiring, NEC standards, high voltage systems, or ohmmeters is a plus
- Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety guidelines
- Basic understanding of frame carpentry related to electrical infrastructure installation is beneficial
