Freedom Commercial & Home Services has served the Houston area since 1996, and we're growing. We need experienced journeyman and master electricians for commercial and industrial construction projects across Greater Houston, starting immediately.
Pay: $35–42/hr depending on experience

What You'll Do
- Install, terminate and troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Bend and install EMT, rigid and PVC conduit; pull wire; set panels and gear
- Work with 120/208V and 277/480V three-phase systems and motor controls
- Read blueprints and lead apprentices on the job
Requirements
- Active Texas journeyman or master electrician license (TDLR)
- At least 3 years of commercial or industrial experience
- Own hand tools, reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Regularly lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs, such as wire spools, conduit, fixtures and gear
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel and crawl for long periods
- Work comfortably at heights on ladders, scaffolding and elevated structures
- Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts and other aerial equipment, with training provided as needed
- Use power tools and equipment, including rotary hammers, band saws, threaders and benders
- Work outdoors in Houston heat, humidity and rain, and in tight spaces such as ceilings, attics and chases
- Distinguish wire color codes
- Wear required protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and flame-resistant clothing where required)
- Work extended shifts, early starts and overtime as projects require
- Travel daily to jobsites across Greater Houston
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and meet jobsite and plant access requirements, including site safety orientations
- Some positions require driving a company vehicle. Those candidates must hold a valid Texas driver's license, have a clean driving record and meet the company's vehicle insurance requirements.
