Excited about spending your summer on the water, surrounded by boats? Join the team at Freedom Boat Club of Lake Lewisville! We're seeking dynamic individuals who are quick learners, excellent communicators, and dedicated to putting customers first. As part of our dockstaff, you'll become well-versed in our boats, the lake, and ensure an outstanding experience for our members and their guests. Don't worry if you're new to boat driving – we'll provide comprehensive training. A strong willingness to learn is a must! Attention to detail is key in this role, as you'll be responsible for checking and maintaining safety equipment onboard to ensure our members' safety.

Flexibility is essential, as this position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm and friendly demeanor
  
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of boats for member outings
  
• Ensure safe and efficient boarding process for members and their belongings
  
• Provide comprehensive pre-departure checks and address any member inquiries
  
• Deliver exceptional boating experiences for Freedom Boat Club members
  
• Ensure cleanliness of docks and boats, and functionality of safety equipment for the next day's operations

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 with a valid driver's license required
  
• Ability to transition between dock and boat effortlessly
  
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, balancing, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Eagerness to acquire new skills
  
• Capacity to work outdoors under a covered dock during summer and stand for extended periods
  
• Proficient swimmer
  
• Previous boating experience desirable but not mandatory
  
• Familiarity with fleet management software is a plus, though not mandatory
