Key Responsibilities
- Provide group, individual, and family therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Complete psychosocial assessments and clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with appropriate community resources
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team (physicians, nursing, case management, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission (JCAHO), and facility policies
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the medical record
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and performance improvement initiatives
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Current licensure in Mississippi as one of the following:
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting
- Experience in IOP, inpatient psychiatric, or outpatient mental health programs
- Strong skills in group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention
- Knowledge of discharge planning and community resource coordination
- Patient-centered care and therapeutic engagement
